Description:
This painting depicts a traditional Dia De Los Muertos from northern Mexico, the area from which my family originates. Families celebrate the day by gathering around the tombs and graves in the modest cemetaries. They commemorate dead relatives by bringing gifts, lighting candles, playing music, eating food, drinking and praying. This painting was illustrated for a card from the Thug Life board game.
