Description:
This colorful hummingbird was illustrated for a charitable paint and sip event I hosted and instructed. I partnered with Immigo, an organization which helps our immigrant neighbors with a path to citizenship, legal help, English classes, and other essential services. The key for this piece was to create an optimistic image which could be replicated by people of all skill levels. It was a fun, joyous event filled with laughter. The participants' pieces were successful in reproducting the colibri, each with its own individual flair. The event was a success and we raised thousands of dollars in funds.
